Just so you know, I'm NOT a salesperson — I'm a licensed funeral director at a real funeral home and a licensed preneed insurance agent based in the bustling city of San Diego, CA. At Still Waters, my role is to oversee our team of licensed family care specialists, ensuring that every family receives the highest level of care.

As a Death Education Coach, I am passionate about empowering families with knowledge and understanding during their journey. Through personalized coaching sessions, I strive to provide valuable insights, answer questions, and guide families in navigating the often complex aspects of end-of-life planning. With over 17 years of experience as an essential medical worker, I understand the importance of providing compassionate and dignified funeral care. When I'm not on the job, you can find me indulging in my passions, which include exploring new technologies, listening to music or podcasts, and reading some of my favorite books or watching movies. I also have a passion for teaching and was privileged to teach and tutor at San Diego City College for 5 years, after earning my B.A. in Mathematics from San Diego State University.

My passion for the funeral industry began at a young age, when I lost my parents in 7th grade. I experienced firsthand the impact that a well-organized and respectful funeral service can have on families during their time of grief. That's when I decided to pursue a career as a funeral director. After completing my formal training at the California Funeral Institute, I have been committed to providing compassionate and personalized funeral services that honor the memory of each individual.
